Default Anyone ever have numbers below the "corrected" numbers?

I see all the "corrected" numbers are always below the actual numbers. Has anyone ever has actual numbers below the corrected ones? Since everyone always compares the corrected numbers, I was curious.

I did. Mine was actually 321, but corrected up to 325. It was a warm, humid day, so go figure.

Thats correct. If your testing weather conditions are worse, high humidity, hot, etc. than the correction standards, you will obviously have a higher corrected number than the test number. If test day the air is cooler, drier, better pressure, etc. the corrected number will be lower than the test number.

Here at 5000 ft, our actuals are about 30% less than SAE.

Yep - 5,200+ above sea level. I see a SAE correction of 1.22 to 1.24 on the dyno.

in florida we rarely have to worry about actual lowering our power levels since elevation is at sea level and barometric pressure is always high. when i lived in higher elevations, corrected was always higher in the hot nasty summer.

DA = + 3000 and above suck

+1 to that. I've never EVER seen a car here in Albuquerque put down actual numbers higher than the corrected numbers. The FI cars do dyno closer to the corrected numbers than the NA cars do.

This info is for boosted cars. The SAE correction formula works very well for naturally aspirated engines, however that formula does not work well for boosted engines. These engines create their own atmosphere and if there is a barometric pressure change, such a change will have less of a HP affect on boosted then on NA applications. So if your car is boosted, pick a day with the highest SAE correction factor and you will show the most HP.
