Default TSP 233/239 113 R2, Mustang dyno through a 9" and 4.71 gear, happy w/ results!

Did my first pulls since I had only boltons at Straightline Performance in New Lenox, IL. Thanks guys. I am really happy with what it put down. Here are the specifics of the pull:

*Only went to 6000 rpm because my injectors were above 101%, still pulling hard. After I get my injectors I'll be pulling to 6700.
*On a Mustang dyno (want my Dynojet #? Multiply by 1.07... 394)
*9" with 4.71 gear and spool.

Car made 368 HP and 350 TQ at 6000 RPM.

The feelgood dynojet number would have been right around 394.

The pulls were made NA because it was deemed dangerous by Straightline and I to spray a wet kit when the injectors were overworked on motor alone. I'll be making more pulls when I have some injectors and an upgraded fuel system.

I didn't really get on it too hard, yesterday was the first day I had driven the car with the 4.71's and the new clutch. But I can tell that if I did, it would be absolutely ridiculous.

The spool is going to take some getting used to- I'll probably end up ditching the spool for something more street-friendly. I'll be putting my 4.10's in before I go to the track, too.

Ok, you probably already know this and maybe I just read the paragraph wrong. But spraying a WET kit has absolutely nothing to do with injector size. It is entirely dictated on your fuel pump, since the additional fuel is pulled from pressure on the rail and not through the injectors. However I do agree that if the injectors were already stressing that much that putting additional strain/pressure on the fuel system would be a bad idea.

PS: If I read it wrong please just bitch slap me and accept my apology.

You are correct on the wet kit comment, but on motor alone, his car was at 101% duty cycle which is not good. You want to be right around 85%. I would throw some 42lbers in regardless.

My 233/239 pulls hard to 6700 so you've still got some power on the table too. Get some injectors in there man and lets see some track times

Why are you maxing out the injectors is this a stock displacement motor or larger? I am just wondering because I am planning on running this cam and some aftermarket heads. And I wasnt planning on changing injectors. THANKS FOR THE INFO!

It is a stock bottom end LS1 with full bolton and the 233/239 cam. The stock 00 injectors barely flow anything more than stock.

4thgen was right, I didn't spray because of the fuel system in general, not just the injector efficiency.
