Default '02 Firehawk w/ 70,xxx miles

I thought I would be satisfied...now I want more. But I think I will work on the traction first.

It does

Now I have to be careful about breaking loose when downshifting to 2nd and getting on it. Was never a problem before.

Is that the f11 you're using?

Can you give me a rundown of your heads and other mods?
Do you have an electric water pump?

Where are you shifting at?

thanks

Thanks! Your car still parked at the shop? Or is it up and running again?

Stock water pump. Curious, why did you ask about the pump? If I had one of those, I would have put it in my sig.

Thanks! You and the fiance going on the mtn. cruise tomorrow?

I might bring the children up there (wife is out of town) to see all of the cars but I don't plan on going on the cruise.

I asked about the water pump because your sig said "all bolt ons", and some consider that electric water pump a bolt on....but it hasnt became that popular yet, so I figured their was a chance you might have had it.

Ah, well there you go. Yep, it is a 'bolt on' w/ wiring. I do not even know what an e h2o pump will free up in hp (do you know?). Hopefully, I will not need to replace the stock pump anytime soon.

I think in the neighborhood of 10 rwhp. But they cost in the 4-500 dollar range....not worth it IMO.
I also dont like the idea of one....and they need to be replaced/repaired quite bit sooner than a normal water pump.

The main reason I was so curious about your set-up is because it will basically mirror mine except for the exhaust ( I am running duals). hoping for 420-430 at the wheels....and didnt want to get excited if you had the extra 10 horsepower the water pump was giving you.
But ill be on a mustang dyno...so anything over 400 will be ok with me.

Check out ls1howto....they install one. they also have some details on it, they only gained 6-7 rwhp....so I guess its really not worth it for the money and hassle.

buzzing hard on homebrew...

Gross valve lift .571/.572 (I should just scan the cam card)
Compression: ?? I'm pretty sure the heads were not milled. So whatever you get w/ ls6 heads. The heads cam from evilz28nos (rarely checks PMs). If you know who he is then you know where the heads and cam came from. He has his own shop in my hometown and that's where he did the work.

Thanks for the props on the #s. Mileage dropped 3-4 per gallon but I sure am having fun w/ the new setup. The car gets a lot more attention now too.
