Default Cammed LS6 intake gains?

Put 380rwhp down with a 236/236 cam through 98 heads, ls1 intake and manifolds. Upgrading to a LS6 intake with 30# injectors tuned would put me where? I'm guessing 395-400rwhp? What do you guys think?

I wouldn't be surprised to see over 400rwhp with headers and intake. What about a pulley and catback, you got one?

Borla catback,, no pulley, and no headers. Still have stock y pipe and cats. Trying to push 400rwhp. w/o headers. I am aiming for the 400 mark with the LS6 + injectors+ tuning, but not sure if the stock cats will let me, what do you think? I can't say that I have seen anyone push stock cats and manifolds this far.

They are actually 02' manifolds, but still impressive, I gained over 90fwhp with cam. Car pulls to 7000rpms. The one guy I know says he has not seen stock cats pushed past 385rwhp.

Crazy. My car wouldn't make over 267whp on stock manifolds and cats (92k miles, 99 manifolds). All I had was a TSP224R 112lsa, SLP lid, and the SLP dual/dual with a spintech muffler.

Nice gains. I'm getting a LS6 intake and a ported TB. I would be so happy if I got around 25rwhp from both together. My only other mods are lid and catback.

Oh, I forgot to mention -- my car was hated on by that dyno. It was a dynapack, and for some reason it has issues with automatic vehicles. But 267whp?! wtf.

on a stock cammed car, I would guarantee anything over 8rwhp from intake and 7rwhp from TB, so about 15rwhp is almost guaranteed, there is a poss. that you may gain 20rwhp, but I don't think 25rwhp is capable with your mods.

Did you ever get LTs an/or try a different dyno? auto through stock cats with 224 cam should be at least 340rwhp.

I've seen 18rwhp with the addition of an LS6 intake over stock LS1 on a TR230 99 SS. The car was tuned previously and the tune was checked after adding the LS6.

You will easily be over 400 with headers, LS6 intake, and a retune.

Will be 420+ with LTs and off road y and pulley. But right now, I am shooting for 395-400rwhp with LS6 intake and injectors because my 28# injectors are currently maxed. (will still have cats stock y and manifolds and no pulley.

I can't say that I've seen the stock cats and mainfolds go that far either. As far as 400rwhp with LS6, tuning and injectors I think it will be close....

Stock manifolds and stock cats on a cheaTR cammed car at thunder racing did 400 rwhp for what it's worth.

Are you sure your injectors are maxed? You should be able to make 400 comfortably with stock 28 lb injectors.

Yes, I'm sure, my buddy who tuned by car said they were good for for now, but if I were to get an LS6 intake to do injectors at the same time. I know people that have 2000s and don't make 28lb until 430rwhp, but I guess it's that 98' pcm?

I agree, I am having the parts in my sig installed by dez racing and don knows his tuning and said my 28.8's will be fine and I damn well better be making over 400rwhp with the 232/238, ls6, ported TB, headers, catback, and 25% pulley so they shouldnt be maxed out yet
