Default Anyone use a Mustang Dynamometer?

My car only had 242 RWHP and I had a free mod and a K&N filter. I forget the RWTQ, I am at work right now.

We also got 330RWHP from a Z06 and 188 RWHP from an Infiniti G35 with intake and exhaust.

What year ZO6 was it. Those numbers seem quite low.

Those #'s do sound pretty low. A Mustang dyno reads something like 7% less than a dynojet however it's supposed to me more accurate.

There's no direct correlation between a MD and a dynojet so you really
can't say there is a particular percentage difference. MD's do yield lower
numbers though.

In response to the original question, those numbers seem very low. I'd try another
dyno if you're looking for numbers. Keep in mind that they are tuning tools first
and foremost.

A CTS-V put down only 320 rwhp on a mustang dyno which is really low too.

I put down 380 on a dynojet and 341 on mustang dyno.
Many variables in a mustang dyno.

I experinced both dyno's. As you can see in the Sig with the 8psi run on a Dyno jet it made 548rwhp and 11psi on a Mustang Dyno it made 554rwhp even though its the same setup with just more boost. So assuming each psi would yield 20rwhp... that is at least 60rwhp lower reading on the Mustang Dyno at that power level. That would be around 7-9% lower on the two dynos i used.

We tell our customers to multiply our Mustang readings by 1.12 for an estimate if they want to compare to DJ readings.

We tell our customers not to compare dyno numbers to a dynojet

Just find out who wins at the track

My 05 GTO LS2 A4 put down 320RWHP 358RWTQ. The dyno operator said its 10% lower than Dynojet numbers.

So, the number for the Z06 and the CTS-V look right.
