I'm new to having an auto. How do you force the converter to lock on an 06 Vette during a dyno pull?

You need some type of tune or scan software to go into the PCM and command the TC to lock.

then you just set converter lockup to 100% and click the button on the laptop. you can also make it hold gears that way.

right, search for a manual lock switch or something like that in the auto section of this forum.
You should be able to find a wiring diagram so you can manually um, well, lock up the converter.
Not sure how or it can be done with the 6l80e but its not that difficult or dangerous to the trans/converter.. well, not anymore than if you were locking it up with the software.
