Default Nice numbers with small mods :-)

After watching my car run like complete **** after my cam and LT install, I decided to get a tune. I was surprised at the numbers! The MAF was completely busted. I was running 171 RWHP! hahahaha After a new MAF and a tune I am pushing 360RWHP with 350 RWTQ. I am very surprised.

LS6 cam and LTs with small mods. I'm very satisfied with that.

nice numbers, but whyd you go through the trouble of a cam swap to only go with a Z06 cam?

All the trouble of getting a new cam and thats it.....I have LG's G5X3 and it added approximately 60 rwhp. I couldn't believe the difference. Read my sig. and you will see what she did with AFR heads and the rest of the goodies. 11 seconds all day long.

because maybe he only wanted an increase that would still leave him with completely stock driving characteristics and not worry about springs ever again. Not everyone wants a huge cam and if he likes it then by all means its his car. I myself wanted something small to sound stock yet give me increases over the stock cam. back to the topic, if I saw an LS1 put down 171 HP, i would shat myself, and i bet you did too!! nice #'s after the fix though! by the way, that cam works very well with a forced induction setup and still retains the stock-like feel.

Should have saved the money on the maf and run speed density, gained more power and throw the old one out.

The reason I went with a small cam is because it was $100, I am 17 years old, and I really just wanted to tear the engine apart to get some experience on working with LS1s. It was way more for the learning than the power.

Congrats, the LS6 cam works alot better than people give it credit for.. my times corrected down from my elevation give a good indication of that and it only made 364 rwhp on the dyno. Its fun smacking around the cars with bigger cams at the track.

Now my only problem is that I'm still running the same times at the track. Then again I am spinning like crazy. I can't hook up at all even through third. I drive on BFGoodrich KDW. Then again my rear springs are completely shot. I baby the clutch, too.

Not too bad, might have a bit more in it...

What pushrods are you using? You should be using a 7.450 length pushrod with the LS6 cam, it has a smaller base circle than a stock LS1 cam.

Nice numbers. I have yet to use long tube headers, and wonder how much power i'd add to my car with them.

ls6 cam is only good for what 20-25 more over a LS1 cam? im sure LS6 heads would help even if they were used cores, no port work at all.

nice numbers, sweet car for being 17 yrs old!!! want to give you props for doing the sway yourself too!

Great #'s for an LS6 cam! Those are some of the best #'s I've seen with an ls6 cam
