LS2 402 ETP 245 Results 535 RWHP SAE....
LS2 402 short block from Scoggin Dickeys.
Cam is a 246/248-115 .61x lift on both intake and exhaust
FAST 90 with LS2 TB
Custom cold air intake 4"
ETP 245 CC heads 72 CC chamber 10.7:1 compression ratio (91 octane)
Kooks 1-7/8s headers
ASP UD pulley
SD tune by muah, lol
I was hoping for more, motor still has less than a 1000 miles, maybe it will break in more?
Enjoy!

I think its intake manifold restriction..... it does look unnatural, I may try shimming the valve springs a little more, I already had to shim them .045 install heigth I beleive is 1.745 I think I can go another .015 without running in to bind.....

Nice numbers !!! You should look into porting the FAST to pick up a little more air flow. If not you gotta go sheet metal. You will obviously pick up some more as soon as the engine is broken in as well. Keep us update. I am putting together a 408 with around the same set-up.

62-6500
We see the same thing with the PSI valve springs. I talked to Nick earlier and told him to try the LS2 manifold. I have had a few customers swap out the fast intake with the LS2 and carry out much harder after 6000. I would like to see a swap to back this up.

No they are not junk. That is not what I was saying. I feel that it is an air supply issue. We have run several different springs. They more aggressive lobes,( lsk) etc. were more stable with the psi springs.

My 408 with ET 245`s are toping power around 5500rpm`s. From everything we see the intake is holding me back bigtime. these ET heads just out-perform the fast set-up. You can see it in my dyno sheet also. If I would have know this I might have went with a set of 225`s instead. But O`well, I will tough it out. I`m planning a new intake next year to match my set-up. I`m going to wait and see what everyone comes up with. But on another note. I had over 500rtrq locked with this set-up under the curve. I promise, at 40-50 roll I can smoke them with this A4 set-up. Monstor TRQ!! all threw the curve for me!! I do love it
