Default My 99 Z on a Mustang Dyno

I finally got a dyno for my car. I'm not sure to be happy or dissapointed. I know that Mustang Dyno's are normally lower than Dynojets. What do you think I would have on a dyno jet? Anyways, I put down 303 rwhp and 334 torque. I don't have any major mods, just some simple bolt-ons.

My mods are as follows:
K&N FIPK II Intake
3" Magnaflow exhaust
3" electric cutout
Ported and Polished TB
TB Bypass
Tune by PCMforless
and some suspension upgrades

I did see a 5 rw increase in hp and torque from the cutout being open. I'll post the charts as soon as I can get them scanned in at work. My A/F was at 13.3. Is that too lean? I know dyno numbers don't mean ****, but I haven't had a chance to take her to the track yet. What do you quys feel about these numbers?

Good numbers, I made 308/328 with LT's on our mustang dyno. Trap 109.5.

Looking back at the Dynosheet, my A/F is at 13.8. Is that too lean?

No its not to lean. For what you have done that is fine. Race cars are usually tuned at 13.0-14.0 for motor... Cars that will be driven around on the street on motor usually see 12.8-13.2. For a bolt on car your fine right now. The "Gas Mileage" A/F is 14.7:1 "Power" A/F is 12.9 I believe...

I'm gonna guess your a M6?

As for your mods, well:

My mods are as follows:
K&N FIPK II Intake - yep will pickup some HP
3" Magnaflow exhaust - small amount of HP over stock
3" electric cutout - goes to prove the Magnaflow is still a slight restriction
Ported and Polished TB - yep small amount of HP but with LS1 intake limited
TB Bypass - ZERO HP
Tune by PCMforless - optomises setup
and some suspension upgrades - ZERO HP

Personally I think it's a good honest number. And places you at about 350bhp SAE Net which is about bang on for a pre 01 model with those mods.

If it makes you feel better on a Dynojet you would have dyno'd nearer 325rwhp but the engine SAE Net figure would still be ~350bhp SAE Net because inertia dyno's like dyno jets read comparitively high.

Nice
