Default 480rwhp+ Magic Stick 4 Camshaft, PRC Stage 2.5 LS6 & Fast 90 Resullts!!

We just finished up a customers car yesterday with the PRC 2.5 LS6 heads & MS4 camshaft!

The 01 SS is running:
MS4 Camshaft 239/242 .647"/.609" 111
Fast 90 MM Intake
PTM 90mm TB
Pacesetter Headers
Cutout
85mm MAF
TSP Dyno Tuning
PRC Stage 2.5 LS6 Cylinder Heads (cut .030")

The PRC heads feature 2.04" intake valves, & 1.575" exhaust valves, and PRC Double springs. This combo is almost identical to the h/c test engine that made 550+flywheel horsepower on the engine dyno last month!

Once again the PRC LS6 heads make big power @ a great price!

Enjoy the car Eddie!!

Very impressive. Solid power under the curve. Nice combo.

Did you happen to get any runs that show WOT below 3500? That would be some additional good info.

With power like that,I would not care about WOT under 3500 rpm. When your at the track the rpms will not fall that low on a shift change.Very impressive combo!

That's an accurate statement if this cam was only intended for the enthusiasts with dedicated race cars. But I would expect that 90% of the people wanting to buy this cam will also be driving their cars a great deal of the time on the street. My question about the power below 3500rpm was purely exploratory. Potential buyers are going to want to know all they can about this cam. Power below 3500 might influence gear or converter choices.

Don't assume yes until you hear it straight from TSP. P to V should be tight even with stock heads. I would expect that a 64cc chamber, cut down .030", would have even more difficulty clearing. If TSP says that this car did it with no flycut, then that's some impressive engineering.

if it's not possible to run a MS3 w/LS6 2.5heads with 2.02 or 2.04 valves, how is it possible that the MS4 fit under there without flycutting?????

Very nice #s. I would like to see another customer with that setup and different dyno. The numbers that TSP posts seem to usually be alittle higher than what the average Joe gets out of the same exact combo.

The stage 2.5 heads with the larger valves (2.04 / 1.575 ) will require flycutting. It would clear unmilled using stock valves.
