Default Dynoed With Good Results!

So today I got my car dynoed and put up some pretty good numbers... enough for me to be happy with and still being smog legal except visually with the exhaust. Here's the list of supporting mods:

- Thunder Racing 224/224-112 lsa Cam
- Patriot Performance CNC Ported & Polished 243 Heads
- 2.02"/1.57" Ferrea 6000 series valves
- Partiot "Gold" Dual Spring Kit
- Thunder Racing Chromoly Pushrods (7.400)
- Comp Cams Hydraulic Roller Lifters
- Thunder Racing Ported LS6 Oil Pump
- XS Stainless Longtubes
- SLP LS6 Intake Manifold w/EGR
- Custom True Duals w/ Dynomax Race Bullets Dumped
- Ported & Polished Throttle Body
- GM Performance Lid
- SLP 85mm MAF
- K&N Filter
- FRA

Ending numbers are: 430.1rwhp and 419.7rwtq

Thanks to Rick @ Synergy and everyone over there for all your help with everything!

Here's the graph

Very nice numbers. I cant wait to get my prc ls6 heads back from tsp. I sent them out to have them milled .030. I will be running the exact same cam but through an auto. I am hoping that I can break a little over 400rwhp with my bolt ons.

ya the torque is great and unbelievably close to the hp... rick at synergy said it has a lot to do with the true dual setup he put on where it's 3" piping before the X and 2.5" after the X

well the longtubes aren't smog legal so it wont pass smog. If the test only station could disregard the illegal mods and do the sniffer test it could possible pass the sniffer, it all depends on the tune, but i've heard of cars with more radical heads/cam combination that could pass the sniffer in cali.

Not bad at all, a little higher than I would have guessed.

I wonder what the car would dyno on a Dynojet, maybe 10HP & 10TQ less?

Awesome numbers for a TR224 with heads. Not to nitpick but isn't the torque 419? Like the graph is showing torque on the left, HP on the right, and 2 pulls? And reading the heading on the graph, it says 'flywheel horsepower'.

you know what i think your right.... rick at synergy who had tuned the car had said 424 rwtq and i thought that was damn high close to the rwhp of 430... i just assumed he knows what he talking about but looking at the graph that makes sense of the 419.7rwtq and seems to be a little more reasonable... either way i'm still happy with the results

EDIT: oh and i know it says "flywheel torque and power" but there's no way that's the case... looks like he just uses that to categorize the name's and car types

Are you running cats'? Does the exhaust smell?
