Default Cam/Nitrous 575rwp/630tq stock bottom LS1 *Video*

Got Gregs car going last night tuning with the 175 shot

All on the same tune
575rwp 630tq 175 shot
531rwp 529 tq 150 shot

We lost 5 N/A rwp with the retarded timing for the bigger shots
The car should haul butt at Sac today as long as the weather holds up.

NUmbers dont make sense. Did you pick up 45 hp and 100 ft pounds of torque by going from a 150 shot to a 175 shot? Or is there a typo there somewhere.

I believe that the bottle pressure was down 100psi on the 150 shot and the 175 shot was at 950psi. there is a few hp there but the peak tq numbers were at the hit and yes the 175 hits ALOT harder no typo

Nice numbers.

We just had an 02 z28 with the nos 5168 kit with fm13 cam, PRC 2.5 heads, and full bolt on's put down 556/592 on a 100 shot. N/A it put down 431/413. Stock bottem end.

How much timing are you running with the 175 shot?

I find it hard to believe you would pick up 100rwtq with a +25hp shot of n2o, actually I'd go as far to say it's impossible. Something's wrong, whether it be your dyno graph, tune, bottle pressure, fuel, whatever. Something's wrong.

Awesome numbers nonetheless.

With an efficient system, you can pick up some crazy power. I did 350rw with my cam only car...had a glide. On a 250 shot, carb style plate system, it did 650 with cold bottles. We did a few pulls like this, then heated them up....730

i posted earlier that with the 150 shot the bottle pressure was low. so the increased pressure made the tq spike that much larger.
