Default 372 preliminary results--724hp and climbing!!!!!

Dart headed 225 cc heads, 12.8:1 nitrous setup, JE pistons, coated skirts, coated tops, eagle rods and crank, solid roller cam, Carb intake, MSD 6010 box, fogger on top. etc... etc.

**Edit**25x/25x .730 lift 108lsa custom nitrous grind camshaft. GMPP intake pics will be up shortly of the work they've done to it. Heads flow 350cfm @ .730 intake. 55cc chamber! They flow 257cfm on the exhaust at .730 with no pipe. Adding a pipe usually nets you 15-20cfm. 3.910 bore/3.875 stroke with a 6.125 rod.

First of, we've had some issues with the 6010 box MSD sells. We are tuning this motor in on the engine dyno. So we have no alternator setup at this time. With the MSD coils on it, it wont pull beyond 3000RPMS because even with 2 12 volt batteries and a charger on them it wont show much voltage over 10.8. So we swapped to the stock coils to see if it was a voltage problem and we could go to 7000 now but thats the limit without a charging system ran by the motor. Working on getting an alternator on this motor today and put the MSD coils back on it.

Edit** got the box wired directly to the battery, exactly the way MSD said it would NOT run like. WE spoke with the engineers and they said they never tested the box with their coils. Yay. So we can get the motor to turn 8500. On the nitrous it just wont do it. Looking at a 16 volt setup to power the coils only and run the rest of the setup on 12 volts. Brake fuel consumption was as low as .38 which is superb.

*** New Numbers***

724hp @ 7600 with 34 degrees of timing. With some more tuning it made more power but im not allowed to disclose anymore then this. as the owner doesnt want it disclosed. Ive got this dyno sheet to post when I get it scanned. The ignition setup still has problems. So no nitrous numbers. As of today, MSD knows of this and no one has taken this box that high of RPMs. They refunded us the money and now it will have a front mount GM distributer setup.

Enjoy folks. This is no cut-rate shop. So this is not a normal build that a sponsor would sell. This is well thought out parts and combination put to work with some R&D to make the power it does. Theres nothing off the shelf about it except the fogger, the intake before work, and the Dart cylinder heads before porting. We arent trying to say this is the baddest LS1 ever but what we are saying is that it makes MEAN power for small bore applications for a cam thats not even 260 degrees of duration with small heads! Everyone claims small CI dont make power, Dart heads dont make power, and the GMPP dont run well in high RPMs. Everything is been proven wrong here. This thing makes as much power as 420+ ci motors. Compare this to others around and you'll see that even this nitrous motor will compete with others NA setups. Thats something to speak about.

Thanks. I know its been a frustrating last 2 weeks trying to get it finished. They still arent done, MSD is ******* clueless on why it wouldnt work. Even after, speaking to the engineer who designed it, he said the way that we have it now it wouldnt work. Its the ONLY way it will work. Direct supply of voltage. GOnna try to hit it with 16 volts in the coming days to get the motor numbers finalized and the nitrous tune in sync. When its blipped in the low RPMS, that bitch hits like a big block. For 372 cubic inches, its gonna be sick on the streets taking peoples money left and right.

Yep he did the heads and intake work.

BADFNZ, not my motor. It'd be fun for a little street motor to play with in my chassis though.

it will leave the dyno on 200 pills in the fogger. What the customer does and changes after it leaves...thats his choice. Theres no reason we shouldnt see 1000 on these pills with the motor setup up and built with strictly nitrous in mind. The fogger will go up to 500.
