01 Z06, 403ci, Novi 2000 - Prelim Results INside
Just finished up another nice project here. Following specs:
2001 Corvette Z06
TTP Built 403ci Low-Compression
- DRP forged pistons for 4.005" bore
- Lunati 4.000" crank
- Manley rods
- King bearings
Novi 2000 Blower, front mount intercooler air-air
Dual spray methanol injection **not operational during dyno runs, now it is operational (stupid fuses)
Boost referenced fuel system
AFR 225cc Heads Big Bore 72cc
TTP Custom Oil Cooler system, includes remote mount oil filter w/ deeper filter and 11x8 oil cooler mounted.
Stock LS6 cam
Stock LS6 intake
Kooks 1 7/8" w/ offroad x-pipe
Stock titanium catback exhaust
We are going to put some street miles on this before we hit the dyno. Have about 60 on it now that the customer put on for us. He loves the drivability and is completely happy but now waiting to hit the dyno. I am looking in the area of 800rwhp on a safe pump gas tune. Will keep you updated. Oh and here are two pics for teasers:
METHANOL WAS NOT OPERATIONAL FOR THIS RUN, COMPLETED AT 19 DEGREES ON 93 OCTANE LUKOIL FROM YOUR FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD PUMP
We ran the car up to about 6150rpm on this pass. We had some issues with the POS bosch Blow off valve so we ordered a tial. So we will be making final passes hopefully by next Saturday after waiting and installing the parts.
Pictures of the hood are coming will post later.
SAE numbers were 790rwhp/761rwtq

I will post the SAE graph as the final numbers come in this week. Right now those numbers were 790/760, our correction factors suck in the winter time up here in NJ. That was 15#.
The reason I posted speed was that on this run we lost the rpm signal at 5815rpm where it was at 808rwhp so speed showed the final number around 6150.
Like I said these are prelim numbers we fixing the BOV issues first then attacking this monster on the dyno again with the methanol working.

Nice, meth inj should up it very nicely. We had methonal inj on a rx-7 tubro II and you could honestly feel the difference when it was full and not...
I am curious though as to why you chose the stock ls6 cam and intake, i mean the numbers justify that it wasn't by any means a horrible choice. I am just wondering why this decision was made?
