Default Bolt on A4 (freak)

We dyno'd my girlfriend's 2001 SS a few weeks ago, we knew the car was somewhat of a freak considering it has ran 12.56 @ 114 on street tires. The car is FULL weight, Mods are: Lid, Longtubes, cutout, and a tune from BLUECAT. Oh yea and a little 100 shot

Anyway, on motor it made:

352 hp
365 tq

On the 100 shot (bottle pressure at 800psi)

446 hp
475 tq

These are Superflow numbers, DJ corrected are:

Motor:

373 hp
386 tq

Spray:

472 hp
503 tq

We haven't ran it in the 1/4 with the 100 shot but it ran 7.39 @ 93 in the 1/8 th last year.

Not to shabby for a bolt on A4 car I didn't think.

I hate when people do the "dynoject corrected" numbers, that is a crock of ****.

Definately strong car, thats a good MPH. Now just get some DR for it and run some 11's

I thought that's what most people on here went by. I think the Superflow numbers are pretty accurate personally.

The car ran the 12.56 on motor, with street tires. I doubt that a set of DR's would have knocked off 1/2 a second.

The 7.39 pass was on DR's with the 100 shot. I'm pretty sure that it would go well into the 11's in the 1/4 with the DR's on the juice.

if it went 12.54 @ 114 on street tires and boltons and if by street tires they were nitto 555Rs or something, that isnt a freak FYI/ nor if it was with the 100 shot . But if they werent sticky tires, than that is damn impressive

The 12.56 @114 was ON MOTOR with regular street tires, NOT Nitto's or any other DR. This is a full weight A4 car.

Like I said, I posted up both sets of numbers because I wasn't sure what people on here went by. I'm not trying to say "Look my GF's bolt on car made 375 rwhp" That's why I posted both sets of numbers. I guess it's too hard for some people to just say, nice numbers.

Forget the dyno numbers, 114mph with those minimal bolt-ons in an unstalled A4 is flyin'. Throw a stall in it and DRs and bust the 11s wide open on motor.

Not necessarily. My friend Betty (Paperdoll on here) ran a 12.7@111.7 with a 1.98 60' with midlengths, CB, lid, 3.23s in her 1998 Formula A4 last year. Stock LS1 intake & TB.

I'm not saying this applies to this car, but I know of 2 LS1 F-bodies that I installed cams in that were later returned to 100% stock, all except the cams and springs, and then traded in at dealers. One car had a comp 212/218 cam and the other car had a LS6 cam. Both cars idled no different than stock so you would never know they had cams in them. I'm sure who ever bought those 2 cars thought they had factory freaks.

Thats what I'm thinking too. We've done a few the same that people traded in. I don't see a bolt-on A4 doing 114mph but I could be wrong.

I bought the car brand new, installed long tubes and a lid, hit 113.5mph. It could very well be the DA the day he hit the track.
