Default 2001 Corvette Backwing & X-pipe Back 12.5 1/4?

Today at the track a buddy of mine ran consistant 12's with his 01 corvette with a best of ET of 12.51 1/4 mi. The only thing he has done to it is the blackwing kit and a Bassani x-pipe back. The car is a 6spd and is not a Z06 we all think the car is a little too fast for what is done. Does this sound right to everyone else??? Any feedback would be great!

It depends on the track prep and DA. What were the trap speeds on those runs?

It could happen i know someone who was running 12.6's in his c5 with just vara-ram, catback, and Dr's.

I see no reason to raise question to his times.
