Default Vengeance Racing 440 LS7/TrickFlow 235s Preliminary results...

UPDATE!!! 603/542 on PUMP GAS!!!! Thats 712 CRANK Horsepower

We are tuning a customers Z06 we just finished up... Thought the results were fairly impressive so far

LS7 440 cubic inch shortblock
TrickFlow 235cc Cylinder Heads
Vengeance Racing CUSTOM camshaft(.596 lift I&E)
FAST 90 Port Matched
LS2 90
VeraRam Induction
KOOKS Longtubes w/catted X pipe
STOCK Z06 Catback
STOCK MAF
Pump Gas
Full Belts

3 pulls on the dyno and its making 576/519!!! We are going to drop the catback per the customers request (He is adding dual cutouts) and go speed density and see what it picks up!! Should have final results AND an independent dyno tomorrow .... Im looking forward to an open exhaust/speed density tune with a few more break in pulls... 600s may be possible

Stay tuned!!!!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Below is a graph of the 440 Vs the original Heads/Cam package... The 440 has the catback removed for the pull

The graph below represents the 440 with full exhaust (Kooks 1 7/8-Catted X pipe-Z06 Ti Catback) Vs No catback

For those that like sheet metal intakes, the graph below represents this 440 (TrickFlow Cathedral Port 235s/Vengeance Racing Port Matched FAST 90mm VS ET LS7 Heads/Custom SheetMetal Intake and 449 CUBIC INCHES)

We still have quite a bit of tuning/break in to do on this engine. ALSO, we WILL be taking this car to an INDEPENDENT dyno tomorrow once we are done tuning for those who question dyno results

Dang, that's not bad at all.

The intake is choking that set-up though. It would take a sheet-metal intake to keep up with those cubes and heads.

Thats kind of the point of this build. The customer wanted a street setup without hacking up his hood for sheetmetal intakes, huge heads, and all of the exotics... This engine looks just like the 346 that came out of it ...

Ill have some graphs posted shortly

If the FAST is "choking" that set-up with THOSE results . . . my car could take a little asphyxiation power

Screw a sheet-metal intake if one could achieve +600 rwhp with a plastic one

Actually, the camshaft is quite large. We just dont believe in big lift for big #s... Duration is in the 260s
