Default Holy Torque Batman... How bout some power UNDER the curve :D :D

Thought this was an interesting build. Customer wanted a STREET motor with excellent manners and as much power under the curve as possible.

Results below

Vehicle is 2004 C5 Corvette M6

Modifications consist of

SDPC 413 Shortblock (4.1 Crank x 4.0 Bore)
TrickFlow 235cc Cylinder Heads (63cc)
Vengeance Racing VRX5 Camshaft-236/238 113+2
Kooks 1 3/4 Longtubes with ORX
FAST 90mm Intake Ported by Vengeance
LS2 90mm TB
ASP Pulley
Stock Catback
Stock Waterpump
Compression is 11.82:1

This thing runs/drives like a BABY... Until you hit the go pedal

No worries about having to spin this combo to make power... Its done @ 6400rpm.

Lil extra stroke/baby cam/lil compression=whole lotta fun on the street

These mild street motors are just simply amazing. Just imagine what could be accomplished if someone wanted an all out race motor with Vengeance doing the work and tuning it. Keep the results coming Ron and Mike.

That's some serious area under the curve. You and your customer should be elated.

Bigger dont mean better. I had a 244/248 cam and went to a 254/254 cam in a 414ci stroker. It ******* sucked. I only gained 7rwhp peak and lost 20rwtq peak. But under the curve I lost 30rwtq from 3000rpm to 4500rpm and lost 17rwhp under the curve.

Something wrong with your setup !! With this kind of cams you should get better exhaust flows & of course good tuner .

thanks.

Nice setup for sure.... I'll keep saving my nickles and dimes and one day I'll have a bigger cube motor. Who knows, if the General keeps up the current trend, a 413 will be quite reasonable in a year or so.
