Thumbs up Speed Inc. SI5 cam only (dyno #s inside)

I just picked the car up yesterday and I am extremely happy with the results. It put down 402 rwhp and 374 rwtq through a 9"w/3.90s. The car hauls a*% now and driveability is great. I got a chance to take it out on some backroads last night and it rips tires through 4th and I was short shifting it at 6,100rpms. Big thanks to Larry and the guys at Speed Inc. for their excellent service. I'm having problems with my computer so I'll try to post the graph later. Let me know what ya'll think.

Thanks, for all the comments guys. I'll be sure to post some track times when I get a chance to take it. I also have a 90mm Nitrous Outlet kit to install. I'm gonna spray 100-150 at it later this year or next season. I can't wait!!!

Default thanks

The car turned out well for the mods. The weather was hot/humid as well the day of the re-tune.

I forgot about the clutch being added since the last tune. The Ls7 is heavier and eats up a little power as well.

real deal will be the track which I can't wait to hear from you on

keep in touch

WHITE00TA-You will get good numbers from speed inc. They had my set up at 424hp 407tq. I then went to a different dynojet and got 399hp 380tq. Then I went to a mustang dyno and got 370hp 350tq.All on the same set up. The car only ran 12.1@115-116 That is no 424hp #'s

We are sorry to hear you feel we gave you some false #'s, but there is no reason for dyno tricks here. I can really care less what each car makes since it is only a # and doesn't dictate how fast the car will be.

116mph is not too bad mph though and sounds as if you have some traction issues

EX : We go 11.4's @ 116 in my father full weight Z/28.

different dyno, different days can show different #'s

I've been talking with Bryan at Speed Inc about the S15 for my C5/6spd and i was wondering how does it compare or which is better, the S15 or the TSP 233/239 cam?

I agree. But most people are too ignorant to read up, and actualy know how there can by differences in dynos. For examle. I dyno'd my car 3 times once... All 3 runs were different numbers

I agree with Larry too. I have also seen his fathers car first hand and the car hauls ***!!! In fact watching his dad's car at the track is what made me decide to go with the SI5 cam. I also agree dyno #s are just #s. Speed Inc. has alot of cars that perform very well on the street and at the track.

Can't wait to get my car to the track and see what it will do.
