Default My old FMS dynosheet I found on MD dyno..

What's funny about this is when I was at FMS after a cam change many years ago on my old FMS NA 408ci setup I was a little stumped why I picked up tq, but loss rwhp even though the setup went from a F-body to a Y-body. I put down 564rwhp/518rwtq several years ago with FMS/Meaux 6.0L heads and a custom 243/247 if I remember correctly cam back then. I switched to a C5 and FMS recommended trying another custom FMS cam which was if I remember correctly a 250/257. The #'s with the C5 were 555rwhp/520rwtq. I was baffled why I did not pick up more rwhp, but later discovered why... My buddies MD dyno computer crashed not long after I verified my numbers in Florida and I could not retrieve the dynosheet post finding out why my C5 #'s did not go up at FMS, but we found out ONLY one of the cutouts opened during my FMS dyno. Well guess what? I was out cleaning my now TT 408ci C5 and found the dynosheet 4 years later. LOL!!

I tried to tell local peeps what my car dyno'd locally and why I was whooping their azzes left and right and why many thought I was spraying even b4 I added nitrous.... Post this dyno we added nitrous and for a little while ran into some injector issues (leaking injectors) that was discovered via lower power NA #'s later.

These are REAL Mustang Dyno #'s with a 3200lb load. I still to this day think Allan Futral builds one of the best NA combo's out there... Hell this same motor took a 300rwhp dry shot on this same mustang dyno for 2 days trying to figure out an issue which turned out to be a leaking injector. We went thru 2 of the nitrous fill bottles b4 discovering the problem. Yes I am slow.. LOL!! I tried to tune around it...

STILL one of the most impressive fbody combos i have ever seen. in todays' terms the combo is a mild and very replicable setup. funny how so many guys are building these L92/LS3 418" type combos and cant compete with that old school setup?!?!

Allen is the man and those numbers are still the ****!! Your right people are having a very hard time with stroked ls3 blocks and more modern ls3 heads matching those numbers. The torque curve is insane also much better than a ls3 headed car.

Keep in mind Vince's setup made 560 RWHP in his SS (same motor) before transferring it to the C5.

Very impressive setup indeed. With some of today's technological tweaking, updated tuning knowledge (I think Alan tuned that engine with LS1 edit), that combo could've gotten close to 600 rwhp N/A.
