Default TFS 215s/Vengeance Vindicator/A4 Dyno/Idle Results IN HAWAII!!!

Thats right guys. We flew 4500 miles to put our combo on an independent dyno!!!!! Well kind of Mike and myself just returned from Hawaii tuning about 9 cars for a local club over there. What an experience... Getting paid to go to Hawaii and work on the cars we love!!!!! I cant thank the guys over there enough...

Back to the post... One of the combos we were tuning over there happened to be purchased from Vengeance. Specs are below

01 TA
A4- Built Trans
Yank 4000 Stall
TFS 215s milled to 59cc
Vengeance Vindicator Camshaft
Ported FAST from Vengeance
90mm TB
Pulley
1 3/4 longtubes with ORY/Borla Catback (No Plate)
Supporting Bolt Ons
Tuned VIA EFI Live by Vengeance Racing
Dyno used- DynaPak- Dyno Operator claims his dyno is approximately 7% lower than the DynoJets on the island. For those that dont know, the Dynapak actually places a load on the vehicle similar to a Mustang Dyno so it would be expected the #s are slightly lower than a DynoJet.

That being said.. Vengeance supplied... Customer Installed... Vengeance Tuned 4500 miles away from home===============

466RWHP
416RWTQ out of an A4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Graph is below. Most of us arent used to a graph like this, but it just shows how well this combo performs under various conditions!!!!

Here is a video clip of the pull on the dyno!!!!

http://s88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...t=MOV02995.flv

Listen to the way the dyno loads the car and holds the RPM before it lets it rev...

Thanx goes out to TrickFlow/TEA once again for producing an outstanding set of cylinder heads!!!!!

Damn, sick numbers even if that dyno ISN'T reading low, and even more impressive if it is, especially through the A4, stall, etc.

I plan on going with a full TFS, big cam, 90/90 combo at some point in the near future, but I'm having trouble deciding if I want to go with Rapid Motorsports' Dominator 2 cam or the Vindicator. Both put out impressive numbers, but you can't beat the sound of that Vindicator at WOT.

Ron

Very Nice results. if you ever need someone from the cylinder head world to accompany you to Hawaii, I think I could squeeze that in.

Hope you had some time to sight see, and that your trip was great.

See ya

It was great having you guys out to Hawaii. Get ready for my order in the next few weeks and start planning for the next trip out to tune the biatch. Wanna go to the track on Maui and run it down the strip next time?

BTW if you come back it looks like we have some vettes and a Trail Blazer SS club ready for some tuning.

Just some slight corrections

Corrected numbers for the lazy people are 498/445. If I wanted to blow up the shortblock it would have been 508/455

Mike and Ron, You guys are good people, funny as fk too! It was great meeting you guys. How did Hooters turn out after I left? Did that guys cheek turn purple? HAHA!
