Default 02 LS6 WS6 dyno tune at Speed inc today

Mods:
02 WS6 M6
Crate LS6 motor
Fast 90/NW90
Lid
Hooker long tubes, ory, cutout, B&B catback
Moser 9", 3.90 gears
ASP underdrive
ZR1 11"s with 315s

We were all guessing roughly 360rwhp with the full exhaust, 9", heavy wheels, and the weather

87*F, 58% humidity. We were all surprised about the results.

Full exhaust - 394rwhp, 375rwtq
Cutout - 405rwhp, 383rwtq

I will post up the dyno sheet when we get back to town from IL tomorrow.

Does this sound normal or does it surprise everyone else? Thanks to Speed Inc for getting us in on the extremely short notice, and a great tune. It was raining 20 minutes before the final pull.

~EDIT~

I would have guessed 390 or so, after all, it is an LS6.

Nice numbers!

Is the fast really that good. If so I might look into one of those. They are expensive. Need something better to feed the cam.

I was wondering which one owned the z06 back there with the whole drivetrain out.. what's your name?

The car was setup for h/c/i so it has all supporting mods. It will be cammed again soon

Sure did!! Ask any of the guy's over at LS1speed!!! Bought the crate motor for the CTS-V around a month and a half ago. Swapped over the little mods like underdrive and LT's and went!!

What's that? That it is a number, and doesn't mean much unless you can back it up with track times/trap speeds?

How about mine?

2002 Camaro SS 6 spd 30k miles... STOCK LS6 intake, STOCK 243 heads w/ sodium valves, ls6 camshaft, pacesetter headers, ory with STOCK catback, ud pulley, ported tb and stock slp lid made 408rwhp. Stock weight on nitto drag radials,11.8 @ 119 mph. Believe it.

The car has since received a fast 78mm intake and added cutout, I'll be happy to update you with improvements of my guesstimated 425rwhp~ ls6 engine. Nice cam though, it sounds cool. LOL!

If this ls6 combo is honestly so great, why hasn't it been used or praised much before within the last 6 or 7 years? IF the numbers are sincere, then that is a great combo with power and drivability. However, it seems that other people with bigger cams and ported ls6 heads, etc don't even dyno that high sometimes. I don't know how that can make any sense??

I am gonna say no, it's not a suprise!!!

LS6 in Vettes usually dyno 360-365 stock.

The WS6 Tranny from what I hear doesen't rob as much as a Vette tranny would. I bet You would have dynoed 370-375 Stock ! Now throw in your fast and headers and tune !!!

I bet you can run a 11.9xx something.
