Here is a little video of a project we just finished.

2004 Z06 Corvette
  • HKE 9:5:1 408 Iron Block
  • Trick Flow 235cc Heads
  • Custom Blower Camshaft
  • Kenne Bell 2.6 Supercharger @ 13 psi
  • 8" Crank 8 rib with 2.75" Blower Pulley
  • Dynatech Headers with cats
  • 2 bar SD Tune

Installed and Dyno Tuned IN HOUSE

699 RWHP @ 6300 RPMS
760 RWTQ @ 2500 RPMS

This car has stock Eagle Supercar tires. It is pointless. Any more than 1/4 throttle in 1-4th gears and your not going anywhere but to the rev limiter.

Nice!!! I have a 402ci and a 112 maggie that makes 595rwh and 740rwt on 18lbs of boost, the boost falls off at 6500 rpms to about 13lbs.

This car has boost issues too. With a little porting to the blower inlet it could make well north of 775 RWHP. We lose about 4.5 psi from 4800-6500.

These numbers are on pump gas with no meth IAT's were around 150 deg @ 6500 rpms and around 120 deg while driving.


Id bet that 112 maggie @ 18psi is hot like the sun...

That almost exactly what we're loosing with our KB 346. We put ETP heads on it, and made the drop in boost worse!! It looses about 5 PSI from about 4200 to 6000. Starts at 18 PSI at around 4000 (thats peak) and steadily drops to 13 PSI or so @ 6000. We're currently making 675/640. Peak tq is at a ridiculous 2800 or so.
I'm not sure its the blower inlet, as much as just the lack of pumping efficiency.
We started out with the thing at 23 PSI (with lower compression than it has now) dropped a pulley size, and instantly gained about 20 HP. After tuning for the decreased boost, we netted almost 40 HP. Putting better heads on it, and upping the compression, did nothing for it, but loose more boost.
Sorry for the hijack, just thought I would contribute some of our findings.
Very nice build BTW. Love to see that thing with the bigger pump on it!!
