Default ms4 and 408 with stg 1 243's guess on my numbers

Ok so i had a spun rod bearing. I tried finding a good stock cube rebuild kit for cheap but couldn't so I decided STROKER. First i was looking at the 383 through texas speed. But then chris with CCperformance made me a great deal on an Erik Koenig built 408. I am runnig the MS4 on a 111.5 lsa with stage 1 ls6's from texas speed. I also have all of the basic bolt ons ported tb, lid, full exhaust with lt's, ud crank pulley but i have the stock ls6 intake. The engine will be right about at 10.8:1 cr and im running the stock 3.42 gears in my 10 bolt through an M6. I will be getting it tuned shortly what do you think I will put down on a md with a good tune? sorry for the length.

MD~450-460RWHP
Dynojet~480~RWHP

With a 90/90 setup you should clear 500~ on a dynojet

Mill the heads or run some cometics get the setup to 11.2-11.5 compression and the car should make 500 all day

Should look similar to the graph in the thread below after you get the FAST intake.

Maybe 470-480 with a fast 90/92 on an honest reading dynojet and about 440-450 on an honest reading Mustang Dyno. Can't really relate to anything else that has their numbers corrected to "read like a dynojet" on other brand dyno's.

One of the guys in our club put down 501whp with a fast intake/tb, 402, ms3 cam and stage 1 heads like yours. His username is fifedogg.
Car pulls hard as hell!

You should put down over 500whp if you have a fast and a good tune.

That car made 500rwhp on a dyno dynamics which supposedly reads 10-15% lower than a dynojet. Not doubting the cars performance but too many people just see the number and overlook the fine details. Im sure those numbers were corrected to "read" like a dynojet but it still isn't a true accurate comparison IMO.

Than it should be even easier for him to get that number than.

My car was dynoed on the same dyno as fifedogg.

He could be right if you don't have the right bolt-ons to match the set-up.

You're already missing the crucial FAST intake.

Your exhaust might be less than ideal as well.

If you had all the UPgraded bolt-ons, you would see WELL in excess of 5xx rwhp and a LOT of torque

You are free to start a new thread after you have some results. This section is for dyno results and comparisons, not guessing games. That's better suited for the Gen 3 internal section.
