Talking went to the dyno! happy with my new #'s

hey guys i just got back from the dyno and im very happy with the results!
last time i had it dynoed and tuned the end result was 313.3 hp and 333.8ft-lbs of tq.
since then i installed a set of coated pacesetters~tsp ory~p&p tb.
car started out rich they i made 3 pulls and the final numbers where 335.8 hp
and 353.5 ft-lbs of tq.
mods are the lt's~ory~p&p tb~ftra which dont really do any thing on the dyno~lid+k&n~custom 3in" single exit magnaflow exhaust.
i have the stock stall~3:23 rear gear~ and the car is a a4.
i dont have a ud pulley yet but im expecting about 2500-3k cash in febuary so at that time im going to go with a small cam~ud pulley~ls6 or fast 78 intake~and a small 3k stall and maybe some thing else if i have any cash left over.
the tuner was suprised on how much tq the car made and he said it's really strong for a a4.
car feels much stronger and it used to feel a little weak if i would go wot at about 50 in 2nd now it pulls really strong from around that speed.

no the 313 hp was with a lid and exhaust after the tune and it started at 304 before the tune.
and gomer did the tune he used to be on here and some of the long time members know who he is.
he is an excelent tuner and a very helpfull and cool dude.

Damn nice power! That car will easily be into the 12's on drag radials, and very deep 12's with a converter.

get an LS6 and you should be in the 345-350 HP. I dyno'd 332HP untuned with mods in sig minus the PTB

cam/stall/ls6 would put you well into 400 on both hp/tq with the way your car is running now.

yup very nice bud...but dont wast your time with the fast 78 (witch they dont make anymore) its proven to be equal to the ls6 and your wallet will be happy too

Then why did my car pick up 12 whp and 10 tq on an ls6 heads/cam fbody? It's essentially the same as the 90 with a different throttle opening, which doesn't really matter because of the size of our maf's bottle neck it anyway. Do some research.

Don't forget I picked up my 78 for $525.. and bolted up my 80mm tb, where as a 90mm setup would cost almost double that for just a couple more horsies.

i was just figureing the fast 78 would give the most power wile still useing the stock type tb.
if i find a ls6 cheap ill probly just go with that when the time comes.

Very nice numbers for an A4. Can't wait to see some track times. You'll be hitting high- to mid-12s for sure at a decent track. Slap a converter on there and look out!

the car has went 12.97@106 before.
i was thinking my mph was a litte low by a few but im still happy with that.
at the time of the first 12 sec run i had a lid,slp exhaust, tune, nittos and some rear suspention stuff.
i need my adjustable tq arm reset to a little lower angle its only -1/2 and needs to be about -2 from what i read on here.
car feels stronger so im expecting good results at the track and im going to a local 1/8th mile track tonight if i can get my alternator fixed in time.
ill post up my results.

well i went to the track this past sunday and i was partly cloudy and about 80 out.
i did because of the gas shortage where i live have almost a full tank of gas so that killed me right there but i still ran better.
car went 12.8@ 107 with a 1.95 60 ft and ran a 8.33 @86xx in the 1/8th
befor my best run was a 12.97@106 with a 1.90 60ft and that was with it being about 60 out and less than a 1/4 tank of gas so for it being much warmer and car more heavy it did run faster so the car did pick up good.
that 12.9 before the lt's only happened once and i used to run constent 13.1's@ 106 and some 13.0's so im happy.
i think with better weather and less gas lol i can hit 12.6's maybe even 12.5's but ill have to wait and see.
i did hit 1 1.79 60ft and ran a 8.200 @87 in the 1/8th but i still ran a 12.8 so i cant figure that one out and my 550ft was 2 tenths faster to from a 5.5 to a 5.3 on that 1.7 60ft so it beats me lol.

good #s were pretty close except you have higher torque. probably bc of my stall and 2 chamber flowmaster
