a few of my friends including travis " yes he is my friend and knows me lol" has lt1s and ls1 cars. all with almost the same mods but yet the lt1s are faster. i dont get it, could some one help me out here??? i'm new to the ls lt cars and dont know a lot about them. thx

haha, its all about money! you give me a blank check and I can make any LT1 car stomp the LS1 cars and vice versa.....

ultimatly its personal preference, however I hate when people put down other peoples ****...

I've owned both LT1 and LS1 cars and really, I'm still partial to my old 94 Formula. But...when I went out looking for a new car to build and race, LT1's weren't even a consideration. There's something to that old addage, "There's no replacement for displacement." I'd be all over a big cube LT1 but it's just not going to happen. The LT1/LT4 was a great stepping stone to something bigger and better. The LS.

i dont think they are...great low end torque but not so much up top IMO.. but they are becomming more and more affordable...so each to their own.. and whatcha got in the fox? i am NOT a Ford guy by the farthest stretch of the imagination...however if i was to build one...i would go forged intenrals on a 5.4 triton, smaller pulley with the same kenne bell supercharger, Viper 6 speed, 9" 4"10 gears outback..and let her eat....

i drove my buddys ls1 6speed car a few weeks ago and liked it alot. just the interior dont feel comfortable to me.

The car is very street friendly..drives like a Cadillac.

I haven't ran it with the 408/t56 in it yet, I plan on putting 3.90 Gears in it before I do that. No doubt in my mind it'll get high 10's on motor.
