04 Cobra Vs Stalled, spray LS1
Okay so this guy at my shop is picking up a 04 Cobra Vert, it has 515 to the wheels not sure on all mods but I know it has 4:10 gears and a stock clutch but it has 515 RWHP.
My Trans Am is a Full exhuast, Lid, NX wet kit will spray 125 shot, and a 3400 stall converter will run M/T E/T streets. This will be tuned I haven't tuned it yet tho.
Do you think I can give him a run?

IMO he has you with you on a 125, heres a vid I made from a couple local guys.
The Cobra driver can drive his *** off, good enough to get a stall, sprayed ls1 with mt dr out the hole with just some nittos on the cobra

Unless he's running a 28" tire, he's running way too much gear. That 4.10 is going to make launching impossible on a 26" drag radial with all the low end torque from the roots blower. Bad choice on his part. Given that, run him from a dig. I suspect that you'll stomp him considering you have a stalled automatic and he's not going to get out of the hole well.
If you go from a roll, make sure it's a slow roll...like 15mph. He'll smoke
the tires and you'll walk right past him. Don't run him from a 35+ roll.

Except......since this car will be new to him, I'd bet you have a 'decent' shot even from a 35+ roll. Once he gets seat time, you wont' have a shot at that roll.

The guy works in my shop and won't shut his mouth about how bad *** he and his new car is. He has a huge head about it, so I would love to hurt his feelings with my T/A that I have less than 7k in.
