SRT8 392 vs LS1
Forgive if this isn't the right section but I haven't had a chance to line up with this guy yet. Anyways Ive had my LS1 for a few years now but it's currently stored at my gf's moms' place and I prob won't have a chance to get her out till mid summer. Anyway a guy I know just signed his life away for a new 2011 Inaugural edition 392 challenger srt8, it's got the 6.4 hemi pushing 470 hp and 470 ft lbs of torque, my mods are in sig. How bad do you think he'll beat me?

Drivers race.
There are videos of them online in the mid 12s...but that's at the fast East Coast tracks in cold air.
It will be very close I think. The higher speed the more advantage I give to the pig. Get a ls6 or fast intake and a real tune and you will be much better off.

Trust me its NOT a drivers race. There are plenty of guys that are matching those mid 12 runs now bone stock. A guy just ran a 12.3@114 in normal conditions consistently. 12.3@114 is to much car for a near stock LS1.

392. Theyre fast. With skinnies, drag radials, cai, catback and a tuner they'll be 11's for sure. Watched a bone stock one with DR's run constant 12.3's at 113 the other night in 800 DA at 700 ft elevation.
