lightly modded 06 gt vs cammed ss? okay my friend with an 06 mustang gt with a cat back exhaust an aftermarket tb and intake also a handheld tuner said he beat a cammed out 98-02 ss by a car lenght i called bullshit. am i right? i told him i would race him to see where my car was at lol i have a full exhast ls6 intake and a lid i dont think i should be worried or should i?

the bad thing about a "cammed" car is that not all of them are the same. So he could have raced a stockish ls1 with a baby cam or a drag car with a monster cam and full bolt ons to support it.
Either way i doubt he beat a cammed ls1 with those mods. And if he did, he got lucky or beat the driver.
Are you guys auto or stick??

hes stick im auto i think i can take him. i beat my other buddy in his 05 gt with the same mods except a tb when i was stock. i now am almost full bolt ons except a p&p tb

I would agree with you on the BS about the cammed SS. Mustangs are weird you can have a mustang with 460rwhp and beat him with a 420rwhp ss. They just dont put their power down the same way the good ol GM cars do! I think you will take him bay a ways.
