Default Can I do it? LT1 vs 07 GT

Ok a friend of mine has a 07 GT cold air, programmer, 373 gears. My dad has a 95 LT1 that I used to drive all the time. Its got a cold air intake and a hypertech programmer. I'm just curious as to what I could do with the Mustang. Both cars are manuals.

I kinda figured lol. I'll give it a shot anyway if I ever get a chance. I'm gonna say my best bet would be a dig. Get him on the holeshot and try to hold him off.

Going to be a driver's race. The gears are his biggest advantage.
