Going to the track Friday night. 1/8th mile guesses?
It will be my second time to an 1/8th mile track, first in the Camaro. Last time I went I was in my '97 GT auto.
The car is a bone stock '98 Z28 A4 with about 160k miles. T-tops, cloth, no TCS switch, etc. It will have a fresh tune up as of tomorrow.
Any guesses as to what I'll run? Hoping for low 9s, maybe high high 8s. And what should I launch at?

Thanks for your input. I'll cry if I don't run at least a 9.0XX though. Partial bolt-on Mustang GTs run high 8s, low 9s if I remember correctly. My '97 GT auto with a misfire and bad fuel pump with bald tires ran 10.0s all night on a slightly uphill track with lower than average prep.
And FWIW, there's a full bolt-on GT with DRs or slicks, can't remember, and a driver mod running 8.1s. That's stock/stock-ish Mach 1 territory here.

Best time of the night was a 9.157 with a 2.096 60'. R/T was .200 and trap speed was 79.855. Not bad for my first time out and weighing 270lbs.
Any pointers? Was launching in first (manually, then D after the hit) at 2k RPM.
