Like I said in the other thread, I think it will be close but you have the edge off the line because of your stall. What tires are ya'll running on?

I give you the nod by 1 car.

Chalk it up to Stall and Dyno tune......those two are what will make the difference.

Does he have an emailed/canned tune or box tune?

With such light bolt-ons and an automatic, I don't see that Mustang being any trouble. Your only problems are the extra weight of drop-top status and those hideous gears. However, you've got the stall and more power.

I say 2-3 lengths if you both hook like you're supposed to.

I have to agree with the 2-3 if they hook right.

I can just see OP spinning a tad on street tires from a stop because of the gears and stall.

Either way, I don't think anyone would take that stang winning over you.

I'd like to see a video of this. I dig watchin' LT1s battle, especially when it's the old Ferrd & Chebby rivalry.

I'd say if you hook you got it without too much trouble...

+1 on the above posts.

OP - tell your friend to get a stall and a custom dyno tune......Now THAT would be a good race....well, he needs gears too. LOL

well sorry to bring back a thread that has been dead for a long time but just thought I would post results. We never raced against each other except during bracket racing. However so far with those mods his lt has ran a best of 13.8 and the gt was doing 13.5. Not a actual race but we figured out the outcome!
