I was posting this in the wrong section, and I apologize. Now that I've found this bench racing forum maybe I could get some input. What does a k24 swapped ek Honda run? There's a kid from my area running his mouth saying how he'll beat my boat, rusty Camaro,tank, ugly pos. i remained civil an tried to get a list of his mods. I know it's n/a, and it's no race car, and I don't think its very fast. He seems to think he's gunna "mop up" my "slow" car. I told him that it's a stock trans am, with lca's, slp cat back, and ram air. It's a 2002, and auto. Hes talked **** forever and he's a thief and a scumbag. I'd like to race him, put 10 cars on him, and see what he has to say. But I don't know anything about Hondas, so idk what they run so I just held my tongue. I do t wanna be the guy who talks so much **** And looses. So what do you guys think?

Sounds like a mid 13 second hatch... It'll probably be a pretty good race.. I say run him from a dig and leave as hard as you can without spinning.

yeah depends on what he has done, if its a stock k24, its prolly making 200whpish.. cams and full bolt ons with a good header, 240-250 and will prolly put up a good fight

The best one is rated at 200 horsepower to the flywheel. A heavier car with 350 hp can't win? If that logic applies, am I better off racing 5th gens?

If the car is a 4 door sedan with full interior, you will destroy him. K24 is good motor, but without good cam, all boltons good tuning. It's still barely a 200whp engine.

If it was a gutted EG hatch with a built K24, i'd be worried, but from what you a describing, he has no chance.

Yea. This kids a notorious liar, so he could have less that what he says. His words were "full bolt ons, worked head, stock cams, full interior. And I know it's a 4 door with a carbon fiber hood. My car had all I've mentioned. Lcas, ram air, slp cat back, stock ls6 manifold. It's a stock trans am. I'm picking up headers In a couple weeks along with an off road y. I'll get a lid if it will help over the ram air. Also if anyone wants to suggest a good throttle body for the ls6 intake? Dont think I'll be swapping it anytime soon. I'm also gunna go with a 3600 converter and 3.73s if it's worth it. My rpo sticker is gone, but I think I have 2.73s now.
