Default 5.3 h/c/i/e

Building a 5.3 for my 00 Sonoma and finally got all the pieces for my motor in.

5.3 with new rings and bearings
Ported, polished, valve job, bowl job, milled 30 243s
Ls6 intake
85mm maf
Ls1 tb
Ls6 injectors
Spectre cold air intake
Brp longtube headers 1 3/4"
Eps 218/226 .595 .598 112+3

All going through a t56 and a 4.10 gear 7.5" rear on stock wheels and tires. Hope to have the motor in next month and be able to drive it by July. Will be going to eps for a dyno tune. Just curious what everybody thinks it will make.

I think you will hit 395HP.

Hope so. That is what my friend and I think it will make too or around there. Would love to see 400, but won't complain if it's less.

I'll be watching this thread because I am considering going the 5.3L route later.

Just an update with more parts:
Added a ported throttlebody and depending on room for exhaust 3" duals with x pipe or 3" y pipe with magnaflow catback. Will also have cutouts. Hoping to be on the dyno by the end of the month.

Headed to eps tomorrow for dyno and tuning.

The exhaust is 3" mandrel bent through dual in single out magnaflow muffler and also added an under drive crank pulley. Truck feels strong. Pulls hard to 6500, might end up raising the rev limiter because it doesn't stop pulling. I'm happy with the butt dyno can't wait to see what the actual numbers are. Here is the idle clip http://youtu.be/bym4z5bO_uw

Still watching this thread and your truck sounds nice. I'll be keeping an eye out to see your dyno numbers after you get the tune.
