Default hp of my 6.0?

i didnt want to do this because track numbers mean more to me, but everyone asks me how much power it has, i kinda want a idea of what it might make. ive been tellin everyone random low numbers as a joke but its about time i get a idea... its a 2004 lq4 with ls2 pistons and rods, ls3 heads untouched, victor jr untouched, pro systems carb (980-1040 cfm flow i dont remember the actual #'s), 234/250 .621/.628 112+4 lsa cam motion cam, 1 7/8 long tubes. i know the 112 lsa isnt the best for a carb but its what i had. any guesses?

The 112 + 4 should work well with a carb. I would guess 580 hp to the flywheel. What does it run in the quarter? Eric L

Yep 580 at the flywheel sounds about right. Hard to say at the wheels since you give no info on the car.

Plus, wheel hp is SO dependant on high (numerical) gear ratios, high stall converters, and drivetrain absorbtion. Eric L

i was tellin my family about 585 give or take, but everyone that asks assumed 400 hp and i just went along with it ha. its going in a 1989 gmc s15 pickup. built th400 3600 rpm stall with a 8.8 and 3.73 gears and some et streets. for now tho it will keep the small tires and stock rear end (3.73 gears) untill i build the 8.8 just to make sure it runs and moves alright. the truck will weigh in at about 2500-2600 lbs without me. it should have a traction problem with the tiny tires in the back. ive got a bunch of pics from the build but i am still in the process of installing everything so no track times yet. ive only got a 1/8th mile track close tho. thanks for the input ill post pics when everything is done.
