turbo setup N/A I'm working on a turbo build, gathering parts and going to get the car running N/A until the winter so I can enjoy it before tearing it all back down. What kind of power numbers and times can I expect from this combo?
01 5.3 box stock bottom and heads
BTR STG 3 turbo cam (230/235 114+4)
truck manifolds
Holley hi-ram
HP EFI
th400 with ptc spec turbo converter (3500 range)
3.25 gear 9"
3500 raceweight gbody
if it's green i already own it
don't really care about hp so much as I know the trans and rear will kill that, what can I expect this thing to run? I know it would be much more efficient with headers and steeper gears but i don't plan on either. I know a couple of the items seem out of place (cam and intake) for a SBE 5.3, but thats me planning ahead for a forged motor next spring.
am i too ambitious hoping for low 12's?
