Now on to this post... I thought to myself might as well re do the whole thing because I have been getting the itch for more power... Nothing extreme like my V but I think a 800-1200whp 5th gen would be fun.

I want this car to be "made" (don't worry I'll be spending my money since you guys are too ******* poor anyway) by you guys here on SRK.

I'll leave this up for a few days and we through whatever you guys recommend to do I will keep updating posts and we can vote on it. Example, an LSX 427, LQ9, LS7, cam 1, cam 2, cam 3, turbo, supercharger 6l90, 4l80...whatever.

The only thing I want to do though is keep the car around 4 digit whp on kill mode and I don't want to spend a lot of money. I have been looking around at junkyard builds and they seem fun but I'm too lazy to research a lot so through this voting **** hopefully you guys aren't all complete trolls and won't vote to put in a i4 ecoboost or some ****.

Let's see what you guys can come up with. I fully expect this to go nowhere knowing you guys on SRK but hell it's worth a try and it would be pretty fun to have an "SRK" built car.
LSX 427... BIG LUNGS ... DUAL COMPRESSOR! With a suitable shot to assist the spin-up of the massive forged internals ... custom grind spec'd by a suitable professor of bump; one whose pedigree is worthy of this august build. Six speed auto-bomb-shelter... stall spec'd by the aforementioned PoB.

Thanks for the dream! Great idea.

Big cube 12.5-1 sleeved block, huge solid roller, mast heads, itb's, direct port N2O, TR6060. Could probably make 750 wheel N/a. Spray enough to get your magic number. Insane throttle response.

A 408 based LQ motor with a good rod/piston combo and a turbo would support 1k easily. The plan with my car is an iron block 408 with an 88mm and 4l80e. You could do that for around 15k in parts fully built with good stuff. You can go tubular front to mitigate the weight of the iron block or just add more boost of course.

Screw it. Drop a 1Jz in that bizznatch with an 80mm turbo. You can race it from 80mph rolls and hurt some feelings.

Jk of course. LQ9 with a turbo would be the cheapest/best bang for the buck.

You are welcome.
Open all the windows in advance, or you're going to have one hell of a backdraft. You wouldn't need more than a gallon, tbh. Don't ask me how I know.

All jokes aside, looks like the LQ turbo idea is what everyone has thrown out. better start compiling a list of which 3-4 options you get frequently. Most everyone is on the same page with using a boosted iron block LQ. I, however, want to see you in a 6spd manual.
