A buddy of mine recently started working where I work and we've been discussing a race once I get my car out in May. He has a 94 Mustang 5.0 with full bolt ons and HCI. E303 cam, offbrand Gt40 heads, Cobra intake with shorty headers + similar bolt ons and mail tune. 5 spd with stock 3.08 gears. I've waxed a lot of 4.6s but never raced a 5.0. Think my boat anchor could take him with mods in sig? We think it will be a pretty close race.

If your car is running in top shape and you have traction,you should take him. Even with those parts the 94 mustangs were dogs.

My buddy used to have a 94 Cobra with a Trickflow HCI and it made right around 300 rwhp. Any idea what your car makes for power?

Never had it dynoed. Most near full bolton M6 LT1s on here put around 300 to the wheels though.
