Default What 1/4 mile times are possible by this dyno

So I finally got my baby dynoed, a little disappointed because my tuner pointed out my injectors are the Chinese knock of boschs 42s :/ he tuned it a little rich because he said he's had bad luck with them. Maybe next year I'll get real Bosch 42s or the 39s he recommended and a bigger maf maybe get a little more power. One thing I definitely regret is not getting stg 2 heads with bigger valves. He told me fwhp is close to 600 as well is that possible? I will say on one note when people with stock engines and a cold air air talk about how what there car is at fwhp is now rwhp because of an exhaust and cold air I'm like gtfo lol. Back to topic what would the best driver hit with this and then me( the guy who's maybe a hair above your average Joe) it's also running on c6 z06 rims so it doesn't get to squirrelly in my opinion

It would need almost 33% power loss from the drive line, so I'm calling BS on the near 600 fwhp claim. More like 500 fwhp, and that is if you have an automatic trans.

Also, what mods? Auto or stick? What gear ratio in the *** end?

I would say at least a 4 second 1/4 mile, if not high 3's...

Lol i thought I had them in my sig, maybe I screwed up somehow on this mobile version. Anyways here's the list, tpis ls6 intake, ported polished ls2 tb, 42lb injectors( Chinese not real Bosch) torquer v4 cam, vararam cold air, tsp long tubes and x pipe open exhaust, tsp prc 243 heads stg 1, ls7 clutch kit, mgw shifter. Well that's what I thought to but I've read a little on dynos and dyno dynamics are suppose to be the heart breaker dyno. When I was picking up my car, they had an ls7 on the dyno that was hci putting down 515 he said on another dyno it made like 600 rwhp

Not that I believe my car is making 500rwhp, just what they said about that ls7 hci. I've seen similar c5 builds getting 450, the rear I think is a 3:42, whatever's factory. I'm trying to hit the track in a few weeks with friends and I'm guessing 11s at worst 12s and maybe totally best high 10s

that was a confusing post, I take it FWHP means flywheel horsepower, the entire time I read it im like front wheel horsepower?

Id say its easy 12.0-12.5 car, if your a good driver 11.5-12.

You are probably around 490-500hp at the flywheel/crank. typically its a 15% loss for a manual and a 20% loss for an auto.

Yeah, I've seen people get that confused but I figured the context of what I was discussing would clear it up lol

That dyno graph looks pretty low given the mods. I agree this should be closer to 450rwhp. I'd get that injector issue sorted out and re-tune.

I can confirm that shortuning's dyno reads really low. The guy that works on my z06 made mode 520's in his h/c c6z on that dyno but went 9.90s.

If those numbers are accurate and you can launch you will be in the mid 11's easy.

You have an 11 second car there trapping 118. Get that 60' down to 1.7s and you'll see it easily. 2.1 geez guessing you are still on street tires.

what do i win?

Your times remind me of my friends s/c'd mustang.

Dont put everything on track times though, you still have a damn fast street car.
