Track guesses? Hey guys,
I have a 2001 Camaro Z/28 6 speed which is receiving a BTR Stage 2 cam (227/234 .613"/.576" 113+2 LSA) and 243 heads in the next few days. Car already has 1.75" longtubes, 3" true duals, K&N cold air, and the stock LS6 intake. Horsepower wise, I'm hoping to make at least 400 to the wheels, but that's not a big deal.
My question is, what do H/C fbodys do in the quarter mile? What can I expect for ET and MPH? I will be doing some suspension work, 3.73s, and new tires eventually but for now, running on a 275/35-18 tire that hooks "alright". Minor weight reduction done, nothing too spectacular. Will be at Cedar Falls Raceway Park which is roughly 880' above sea level, give or take some.
I never got a quarter mile time before the swap due to my power steering line and oil pressure sending unit leaking bad enough to where I couldn't pass tech.
