New Best @ Atco with a bad Twist!
I ran my SS last night at Atco. I was hopping to finally break into the 10's but I just wasnt that lucky. I made 5 passed out of the 5 only one was a clean pass (kinda). On my 3rd pass (best pass of the night) I went 11.258 @ 125.45 mph with a 1.74 60ft. The funny part about that pass was I ran out of nitrous about half way through the run. All of my other passes I kept having touble with the car bucking really bad when the nitrous would first turn on. My worst pass of the night was a 26 @ 29mph, The car wouldn't stop bucking off the line so I let out of it
On my last pass of the night I got a 1.86 60ft coming out sideways, clicked 2nd gear and the car bucked one time. I went to shift into the 3rd and trans just grinded really really bad!! so went into 4th. I ended up with an 11.96 @ 122mph on that pass. After that run I found out that I didnt have 3rd gear anymore. Evertime I would put it into 3rd it would pop back out and grind.
So at the end of the night I got a new personal best and a broken trans, and still have to figure out why my car would act up on the initial hit of the nitrous.

When I get the car back together I want to go on sat/sun to get some good seat time. I hate sitting in the lanes on a friday night for an hour or more to get my next run. Not to mention that the track prep is horrible. I want to try to cut my 60's down alittle more to some mid to high 1.6's and hopefully get the N2O working right and I should have some 10 second time slips.

Rob sorry to hear about your broken tranny. I will be down there with ya when the t&t sat./sun. days happen in november, when its colder out it won't be as crowded and you will get more passes to work on your 60ft. Your car has shown alot its only a matter of time before you are putting up some real good numbers consistently.
