*** Set a New Best Mph ( 158.59 ) ***
I went to Atco this past Saturday to run my car for the last time this year , the track was slick , I couldn't leave with more than 3lbs of boost , best run of the day was a 9.04 at 158.59 .
It was a new personal best Mph , and I believe it makes me the fastest LSX car to come out of Cartek .
( Not for long though with Big Mike's turbo Camaro coming out soon: D )
My car was kicking some asz on the top end today , I just couldn't come out with enough boost off the line , best 60ft of the day was a 1.49 on the 9.0 run . The track was slick all day , many 11-12 second cars were having problems getting down the track , I ran the car heavy with almost a full tank of fuel to help traction .
Big thanks to Julio from Cartek for coming down to the track today , the man had family in from out of town and still took time on his day off to come support me and a few other customers .
It was a good way to end the year , the last few weeks have been great , I got that 8-second slip a few weeks ago , and today I set a new best mph , and as always I drove it to and from the track (150 miles round trip ) , it's always a good feeling to run a new best and drive home in one piece , although I had a few hairy moments today , crossed the center line on my last pass , too many fwd and street tire cars .

The car did stay dead nuts straight. but like said that much power which should be well over 1000 hp, is scary if there is no heat in that track. Hate for something bad to happen.
WHat happend when you did leave harder, just spin or did it do something scary??

Thanks Andy , I got to practice my stunt driving the past few weeks , it's fun when the car skates all over the place , it makes you a better driver .

that's for damn sure...got my first taste of "summer only" tires in 2 inches of snow on the highway...ended up about 2" from the guard rail after it was all said and done...

Amazing accomplishments Mike, the car is crazy fast (and reliable).
Julio is the man and Cartek gets the job done!
