96 tahoe tuning? do any of the sponsers have the ability to tune a 96 tahoe? my buddy needs to have a couple codes turned off. any help is greatly appreciated

i don't mind driving i'm just trying to help a buddy. his tahoe is down a cylinder and is obviously throwing a misfire and knock code. with the check engine light on it won't pass inspection. if he could turn the codes off it would buy him a little time to get up the cash for a new motor. let me know if you think you could help.
