So does this mean that I can only use it toward something that will give me better gas milage then the car I am getting rid off?
That sucks... My '96 Maxima has gone as much as 480miles on a 15.5gal fill up... thats 30MPH, what the hell am I going to find that does that??? A ******* Prius?
Basicaly, If I want to give my Maxima for the CFC crap in order to get a truck, I am SOL... well that sucks lol

Yeah, it has to get better mileage.. Fortunately, the maxima was rated in the low 20's. (Remember it doesn't matter what YOU get, it matters what the EPA says).
What blows is that this isn't a 3500 or 4500 incentive on TOP of your car's value.. it's a total vale. so it your car is worth 4000, the dealer only gets 500.
With a few exceptions, the people using this program the most are gonna be the ones who should be using it the least.
