Default Little Help In Pittsburgh Please

Hey All,

I have one of my friends cars heading into the Pittsburgh area tonight having some pretty crazy running issues. The car is a 68 Chevelle with a 415ci LS engine running a 2000 F-Body ECM. They are participating in the Bull Run event and will be in the area tonight till about noon tomorrow.

What I think we need is hopefully a GM Tech2 to see what the cam sensor is showing. If you have HPT or EFI Live it could not hurt to check it with them either. Any help would be great.

The contact number will be 407-832-1752 and Frank is the guy you would be calling. it does not matter if it is now, midnight or early AM as he is really in need of some diagnosis. Kind of hard for me to handle it over the phone from FL.

TIA.

You should be receiving a phone call. I just contacted a local shop in Mt Pleasant, PA that has a tech2 and hp tuners, and they should be able to help out.

Talked to Frank this morning and thanks to those who were able to help out. Turns out that the cam sensor wiring was backwards in the harness causung the starting issue at times and there was also a spark plug wire arching somewhere.

Thanks again.

Shhhhhh!! Don't jinx it Still a long road ahead but things seem to be good now. What I would not give to have enough time to go over things before a trip
