engine swap in pa. leagal or not???? Hey ya`ll I have a v6 4th gen. camaro I put a lot of work in to but I would like to put in a ls1 v8 in it someday. I was just wondering can this be done leagal? I know everybody says just buy one but I dont want to I know every inch of my car and im not letting her go thanks.

yea until you wreck it they see the V8 and they drop you for not letting them know so they could charge you the correct rate for your car
Im a PA state inspector and doing that can get somewhat iffy, if we want to, we can easily fail it, if you come in respectful then odds are we wont push the fact

My 84 was registered with a 305 in it forever drove the thing for 4+ years with a 355ci 400whp thing ran cleaner then my 305. Once its running again i have full intentions on putting under the same thing with its drag motor haha.
