Default Race Proven Motorsports 9.46@143 STOCK LS7!!!

We installed a 4l80E in a customers car from Quebec. The car ran a best of 9.9 at 143 before when it was a 6 speed once. It was consistant 10.0 car. It had a Vararam, Twin Disc clutch and a 185 shot.

We installed an RPM 4L80E Swap, Qa1 Shocks and a CCW Drag Pac and he added Headers and bumped it to a 200 shot. I couldnt beleive when i heard what he ran.

9.46@143.8 mph
6.05 @ 114.1
1.32 60'

This was also the first time out. Alittle more tuning and i think it can go 9.2-9.3

We are talking about adding a cam and trying to get into the 8's on a STOCK besides cam LS7

That is sick dude. Congrats on the build. Nitrous verter? Any NA times? I think 8.9's would be possible with a nitrous grind cam.

Thanks matt. Yes its a nitrous verter. 3600. Not sure if he ran NA or not. I really think we can go 8's as long as he doesnt up the shot to a 300 like he wants too haha

I wonder who he is since we don't have many tracks around here. Haven't seen him at any meets. Hopefully he comes out one time.

Final number last week, with the same rich tune, low timing:

1.32 60'
5.97 @ 116 mp/h 1/8
9.34@ 143.8 mp/h

Rich afr and low timing hurt the 1/4 mp/h. Better time to come stay tune.

Later,
Sébastien
