Mach 1 is quick for what it is but no match for a M6 LS1 stock for stock. A stock GT? LOL

The reason I am so pisted off is because when I had headers and the TSP X package the mach beat me he didnt understand I had a bad knocksenor which made the car run like absolute **** lol at him though

yup. despite numerous arguments ive had on here stock machs with the same trans arent faster than ls1 fbodies.

just finished this debate. someone's I know girlfriend has a stock 2004 mach 1 with a catback and drag radials. I raced him driving his GF's car with my stock formula with an SLP lid only, street tires. original plan was for me to run DRs also but I didnt want to destroy my rear so I beat him on street tires vs his drag radials

(we were racing heads up so quickest ET may not win)

SHOWDOWN WITH WES RUN #1
zig left, wes right
R/T: .338 - .244
60': 2.207 - 2.028
330': 5.998 - 5.716
1/8: 9.014 - 9.114
mph: 81.80 - 74.64
1000': 11.564 - 11.879
1/4: 13.758 - 14.170
mph: 103.63 - 98.01
I win by .3183 seconds (if racing heads up)
this was one of my best runs. wes beat me at the light, beat me at the 60' (I was running street tires, he had DRs), I stopped his pull and was starting to catch up but right before the 8th he missed 3rd and I went by. I managed to hit 4th gear during this run, a small milestone. after the first run its zig - 1, wes - 0.

SHOWDOWN WITH WES RUN #2
zig left, wes right
R/T: .417 - .090 (holy ****, wes, on a pro tree none the less!)
60': 2.262 - 2.049
330': 6.002 - 5.857
1/8: 9.006 - 9.001
mph: 82.16 - 79.48
1000': 11.565 - 11.648
1/4: 13.725 - 13.885
mph: 104.38 - 99.77
wes wins by .1678 (if racing heads up)
wes caught me sleeping at the light but also got a .090 on a pro tree. damn. once again he out-60 footed me but I was catching up. he tried to wind out 3rd gear and hit the limiter right before the line, I managed to get 4th gear but it wasnt enough. he crossed about a sixth of a second before me as I was at his rear bumper, still gaining. now we are tied in the series.
LS1 f-bodies are faster than mach 1s.

they also make less power despite being "rated" the same but we all know that LS1s were underated. mine mad as much hp at the wheels as it was rated at the flywheel.

my bone stock LS1 vs a few mach 1s, some stock, some with boltons, same dyno:

^^^ My buddys mach on feburary 1 09' ran 13.2 I ran 13.3 with headers and a **** tune because of my knock sensor, so my friend got a big head about it, but then I whipped out my "I ran a 12.8 at the track with catback"
