New cars take time, I do not car how fimilar your with the platform, or how fast you have gone. The car needs seat time.

Actually it has to do with the one way clutch on the alt pulley. They have a different design alt and clutch setup to cure this. it will also cause excessive belt "flutter". If the condition gets bad enough then it will feed vibrations through the mount into the block that the knock sensors pick up. Just happens to be the right frequency. I am a GM tech and have seen some of this shiete before. Oh, and tech 2's dont scare me!

I love the Tech2, and thats interesting on the alt, i didnt know the alt pulley had a one way bearing on it though?
