Sled guys ready???? this weekend!!!!
well, we have been racing grass for a few weeks and i think we have cleaned mud off the sleds for the last time this season. one pond in souther maine is all set. 5" sunday and with temps down in the single digets at night im guessing 6-8" by this weekend which is more then enouph.
i will be going friday to messure a more local lake (turkey pond) in bow NH. as of sunday there was a pretty good skim on it, and with a couple days of cold, this lake freezes very fast. its only 2-7 feet deep. ive seen 2" form over night!!!
so either way we will be on ice this weekend!!
cant wait. BBRRRRAAAAAAAP

tony, do it to it guy.
id love to run 6 foot of snow. my short track ran well last year in 3-4 feet, i did get stuck a couple times but not bad for a 14 wide 1" track 121. lol
yes, i can clutch anything. what mods if any?
thats the big thing. and what type of ridding do you do?
off trail, on trail, deep stuff, lake race etc, and is it a 121"
you can e-mail me if you want.
basic set up would be to add 1mm over sized rollers, keep the stock weights. depending what ridding you do go to a 412 ramp, and depending what ridding you do would tell me what primary spring.
seconery spring i would go to a green if you do lake race, trails, and just cruz, if your deep powder, boondocking etc then i would go with a dalton red spring.
i dont accually have "kits" i could put something together for you if you want, or send me clutchs i will do it for you. let me know

No deep powder man. My precision ski's suck in that ****. Mostly lakes and groomed trails. We ocassionaly drag races in some hard packed snow. I've got the 04 rev mxz x 600 ho. I have vforce 3 reeds and dropped a size on the mains. I also have a snow stuff silencer on it, I know it adds no power but it is loud as hell ( hope I don't get a ticket up on the hill). Send me a pm with a price if you want. I believe the track is 121" studded ofcourse. My one buddy has a 04 f6 efi thats clutched, reeds, and a can and i pull about 3 sleds on him by 80.

secondery go with a ski doo green.
i have about 10 green springs, id be happy to sell you one a bit cheeper then a doo dealer.
i can also put together a price for everything if you want.
do you have tools to do the job? if not put the clutches in a 5 gall bucket and ship them to me, i will ship them back with all stock parts and all done, cleaned and ready to rip.
with my girls 600sdi with a pipe and my clutching i beat tons of f6's, some f7's and a lot of stock or clutched (with other peoples kits) 800 revs.
gear it as well. its worth it.
you want to be around 1.80 ratio so you need to see what you have for gears now and let me know. i think that sled stock is 23/43 if so go to a 42 botom gear and you will be mint. probably gain 5 mph on top with clutching and gearing and a good 3-5 sleds from stop to 1200 feet.
